About Adrienne

Adrienne Scritsmier is a lifelong Oregonian, raised with deep roots in the Willamette Valley. Her family’s story reflects the broader story of Oregon itself, one side arriving by wagon on the Oregon Trail, the other migrating from Oklahoma in the 1950s in search of opportunity and a better life.

A wife and mother, Adrienne returned to her hometown of Wilsonville in 2018 after 15 years away, wanting to raise her own family in the community that helped shape her. Overcoming adversity and finding her path through education, service, and community involvement, she has dedicated her career to expanding opportunity for others.

Adrienne currently serves as Community Education Coordinator at Clackamas Community College, where she has worked on initiatives focused on student success, digital literacy, food access, and community connection. She is a proud union member of Oregon Education Association, and is currently the diversity representative for her local union. She serves on the City of Wilsonville Budget Committee, and previously served on the City of Wilsonville Kitakata Sister City Advisory Board, including two years as Board Chair.

A graduate of Wilsonville High School, she earned a bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Oregon, before completing a Master of Science in Education at Eastern Oregon University, with a focus on trauma in educational settings. Her graduate work shaped her commitment to trauma-informed leadership, a principle that continues to guide her approach to education, public service, and community building. She has also pursued additional studies in Public Policy Leadership at Oregon State University.

Outside of work and community service, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog in the many Villebois parks, watching documentaries, and collecting vinyl records. Her favorite pastime is attending concerts, and she loves to connect with others to talk about music.

Through her work and volunteer service, Adrienne remains committed to strengthening public institutions, fostering thoughtful leadership, and building a community where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
